We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across race day hospitality products and major event sales.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the Australian sporting landscape.
- This position is responsible for driving revenue growth through the proactive acquisition of new clients at Royal Randwick, Rosehill Gardens, and other venues.
- The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running and consistently deliver against sales targets through outbound prospecting activities, strategic planning, relationship-building, and commercial acumen.
To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will demonstrate significant experience in outbound sales and new business generation, within the sports hospitality or sporting venues industries. They will also have an established network of clients and contacts, with a proven ability to leverage relationships to drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:- Raise Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through proactive client acquisition, strategic planning, and commercial acumen.
- Build Relationships: Foster strong relationships with existing and new clients to drive sales.
A key aspect of this role will be building a strong network of corporate, agency, and high-value contacts to generate immediate race day hospitality opportunities.
Key requirements include experience in generating new business in the sports hospitality industry, including major corporate functions. The successful candidate will bring a strong track record of success in sales and business development, as well as an established network of clients and contacts.
