About the Role

The University of New South Wales is seeking a highly skilled HRIS Process Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR Systems team, you will be responsible for providing expert support and guidance on HR processes and systems, ensuring seamless delivery of customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain HR Systems knowledge base to ensure accurate and accessible information for stakeholders and end-users.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on HR business processes and associated HRIS application functions, including talent management, core HR, time and attendance, payroll, and training.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to HR Systems support processes for the PeopleSoft HR/Payroll/Time & Labor modules and other HRIS.
  • Develop and manage training programs, including classroom sessions, to ensure business users can effectively use HR systems.
  • Provide second-level support for HR Systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business change management, subject matter expertise, and end-user support for new or modified systems.
  • Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure HR systems changes/enhancements are quality assured.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in business process/functional analysis, business process mapping (BPM), design or support, or equivalent business experience.
  • Previous experience as an HRIS Process SME and/or Training Officer in the implementation, upgrade, and/or support of HR systems, including PageUp and PeopleSoft HR/Payroll/Time & Labor applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and rolling out training programs, including e-learning content and online learning management software.
  • Proven ability to articulate technical information for end-users in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training, and/or experience.
