Founded in 2014 by leaders Patricia Burke OAM and Gillian Hund OAM, this Giving Circle and sub-fund aims to bring together members' resources to support non-profit organisations in Melbourne that deal with issues undermining women's quality of life and futures.

Underpinned by strong values and a community of passionate individuals, this organisation has achieved remarkable outcomes, including over $980,000 in grants awarded to 43 organisations working in high-priority areas. This is a group of people committed to making a difference.

This organisation is entering a new chapter by seeking registration as a charity with DGR status, and a change of name to reflect its mission-driven approach. This presents an exciting opportunity to welcome a driven Executive Officer who will lead, develop and empower the team through the next phase of growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the philanthropic sector, ideally with knowledge of giving circles, grant-seeking and grant-making. They should possess strong marketing, social media and compelling storytelling skills, as well as project and events management expertise. A deep understanding of governance and compliance, combined with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, are essential.

A key objective for this role is to collaborate with the leadership team and broader membership base on projects that drive organisational success. The successful candidate will also contribute to building existing and identifying new stakeholder relationships, thereby enhancing the organisation's reputation and impact.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead, develop and empower a diverse membership of volunteers;
  • Guide the organisation through the next phase of growth;
  • Continuously build upon existing/identify new stakeholder relationships;
  • Collaborate with the leadership team and broader membership base on projects.
