Strategic Legal Advisor

We are seeking a seasoned FinTech and Payments lawyer to provide strategic legal advice on regulated and non-regulated activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report directly to the Senior Legal Director, supporting all legal matters related to FinTech and payments impacting our business globally.
  • Engage cross-functionally in a matrix structure with stakeholders in technology, product, risk, compliance, and finance; interact with senior stakeholders within our organization and related brands.
  • Support the Senior Legal Director to manage and develop a growing team, external counsels; horizon scan for emerging payments and regulatory issues impacting our business globally.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in FinTech, Payments, or Financial Services law; ideally with top-tier law firm experience or experience in a major tech company.
  • Law degree from a reputable law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • Native or fluent English speaking and writing skills.
  • Excellent writing, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
