About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Operations Supervisor to join our team at DP World Australia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our landside team to ensure safety, customer, and commercial outcomes are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage transport operations within budget expectations to ensure effective provision of ongoing service.
  • Ensure safety and compliance within the in-house transport group, adhering to NHVR regulations.
  • Manage the execution of transport functions for all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan and oversee customer deliveries to meet service level agreements.
  • Ensure invoicing accuracy from a transport perspective for receivables and payables.
  • Act as the super user for the TMS and key point of contact within the transport team for the implementation project.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching for all direct reports.
  • Manage the onboarding of new team members and ensure ongoing training requirements are met.
About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years' experience in a transport-related role.
  • Notable experience in managing frontline works.
  • Experience with transport management systems.
  • Knowledge of the container transport industry.
  • Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility.
  • Effective planning skills.
  • Ability to oversee a team to deliver outcomes in line with business requirements and expectations.
