Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to join our Service team at our Alexandria Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet, managing resources, and promoting a positive working culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the daily route runs to ensure timely completion and efficient use of resources.
- Ensure the safety of drivers and the public by maintaining a safe and well-maintained fleet.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of drivers and transport staff.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current people management experience, preferably in a fleet management or logistics role.
- Fleet management experience is highly desirable.
- A valid driver's license.
