Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Transport Solutions Specialist to enhance our dynamic team.
This position entails the creation of transport solutions tailored for prospective DP World Transport Clients while also assisting our existing Clients in optimizing their transport needs. Additionally, this role will provide insights into the commercial effectiveness of all current DP World Clients.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive transport models to meet Client specifications.
- Manage Client quotations and prepare documentation for tender proposals.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all internal and external inquiries regarding DPW transport initiatives.
- Analyze the commercial performance of all Clients and provide insights on contract performance.
- Collaborate with DPW Key Account Managers during the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition from proposal to operational commencement.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement to enhance our Clients' supply chain efficiencies.
- Create Client presentations to support growth, acquisition, or retention initiatives as necessary.
Required Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Desired commercial and/or financial qualifications.
- Proven experience in report generation and professional correspondence.
- Ability to analyze operational data effectively.
- A professional, positive, and proactive demeanor.
- Strong written communication abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Capability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
