About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at New Relic, Inc. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a critical role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential customers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify new leads through research and outreach activities, including phone calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to engage with potential customers and establish a strong foundation for future growth.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and provide support to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough research on prospective clients to understand their industry, challenges, and objectives, and use this information to tailor sales pitches and conversations.
  • Utilize marketing collateral and sales tools to engage with customers and establish relationships, and leverage data and insights to inform sales strategies and decisions.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in a BDR or SDR role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the QMS and MES solutions market.
  • Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated presentation and communication skills.
  • Passion for sales and a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
