Job Description

The Retirement Community Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Retirement Villages in Carlton. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with residents, staff, and stakeholders to ensure an outstanding experience and quality service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a small team of administration, gardening, and maintenance officers, providing effective leadership and coaching.
  • Engage with the community, gather resident feedback, and build strong relationships with residents and business partners.
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and contract service ordering.
  • Meet with the Resident Committee to gain insights into community operations and opportunities.
  • Conduct self-assessments to identify areas for improvement and align with ARVAS Standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing retirement community operations, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Financial acumen, including experience with budgetary and financial management.
  • Compliance-driven individual with knowledge of ARVAS Standards and the Retirement Villages Act 1986.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage gardening/contract services.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
