Job Title:
Procurement and Contract Management OpportunitiesA federal government agency is seeking skilled individuals to join its procurement and contract management team in Canberra. The roles will be based in the city and involve full-time work for a 12-month period.
About the Roles:
- APS5 Contract Manager Officer (Data Administration Officer)
- 2 x APS6 Contract Manager Officers (Procurement and Contract Administrators)
The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring efficient delivery of procurement activities. They will also contribute to effective procurement and contract management outcomes that support the agency's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:APS5 Responsibilities:
- Supporting contract administration activities such as monitoring deliverables, milestones, and records.
- Ensuring compliance with CPRs and agency policies.
- Providing administrative and reporting support to the procurement team.
- Leading and managing low to medium complexity procurement processes.
- Drafting and negotiating contract terms, including performance and renewals.
- Providing advice on procurement strategy, risk management and compliance.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contributing to capability development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative approach to teamwork.
Relevant qualifications in procurement, contract management, business or a related discipline are highly regarded.
Benefits:
