Contract Manager Officer

The Contract Manager Officer plays a pivotal role in the Procurement and Contract Management team, responsible for ensuring procurement activities are delivered efficiently and transparently. This non-ongoing labour hire arrangement offers flexible working hours within a 12-month contract role.

About the Roles:
  • APS5 Contract Manager Officer (Data Administration Officer)
  • APS6 Contract Manager Officers (Procurement and Contract Administrators)
Key Responsibilities:APS5 Responsibilities:
  • Supporting contract administration activities such as monitoring deliverables, milestones, and records.
  • Ensuring compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules and agency policies.
  • Providing administrative and reporting support to the procurement team.
APS6 Responsibilities:
  • Leading and managing low to medium complexity procurement processes.
  • Drafting and negotiating contract terms, including performance and renewals.
  • Providing advice on procurement strategy, risk management, and compliance.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to capability development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and frameworks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
