Job Overview

This is a casual position, requiring flexibility in scheduling with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a medical environment.

Estimated Salary Range:

$40-$60 per hour, based on industry standards and location.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning room processes, including setting up chemicals and equipment to clean walls, medical cabinets, benches, trolleys, and floors.
  • Removing waste from process areas, i.e. chemicals containers, vials, or glass.
  • FOLLOWING strict security and OHS procedures.
  • Reporting to supervisors and/or duty managers.
  • Shift work may be required.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated work experience in a medical or pharmaceutical environment, either cleaning or assisting in manufacturing.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to document processes, i.e. filling out records of chemical dilution, cleaning logs, and evidence of following procedures.
  • Willingness to wear full protective PPE (no breathing apparatus required).
  • Ability to work independently when required.
  • Understanding of OHS practices.
  • Well-presented individual able to follow safety instructions.
  • Must be able to pass an Australian National Police Clearance.
  • Demonstrate Working Rights in Australia.
