Job OverviewThis is a casual position, requiring flexibility in scheduling with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a medical environment.
Estimated Salary Range:$40-$60 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
Responsibilities:- Cleaning room processes, including setting up chemicals and equipment to clean walls, medical cabinets, benches, trolleys, and floors.
- Removing waste from process areas, i.e. chemicals containers, vials, or glass.
- FOLLOWING strict security and OHS procedures.
- Reporting to supervisors and/or duty managers.
- Shift work may be required.
- Demonstrated work experience in a medical or pharmaceutical environment, either cleaning or assisting in manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills, ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Ability to document processes, i.e. filling out records of chemical dilution, cleaning logs, and evidence of following procedures.
- Willingness to wear full protective PPE (no breathing apparatus required).
- Ability to work independently when required.
- Understanding of OHS practices.
- Well-presented individual able to follow safety instructions.
- Must be able to pass an Australian National Police Clearance.
- Demonstrate Working Rights in Australia.
