About Our Business Development Manager Role

As a business development manager, you will be responsible for leading new business opportunities across Western Australia. Your focus will be on key sectors, where you will identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities, manage sales processes, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

This is a full-time position that offers strong autonomy, high visibility, and the opportunity to make a significant impact in our organization's success in WA.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and convert new commercial customers across key industries.
  • Develop and execute tenders, proposals, and pricing strategies to secure new business.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
  • Analyze data and insights to inform territory growth strategies.
  • Cultivate and share commercial knowledge and best practices with the broader sales team.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to drive retention and growth.
  • Provide regular sales reports and pipeline updates.
">Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a commercial BDM or senior sales role.
  • A proven track record of acquiring and retaining commercial customers.
  • A background in the oil, lubricant, or automotive industry is essential.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, tendering, and closing skills.
  • The ability to work independently and proactively, with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data reporting.
