Health and Safety professionals have the unique opportunity to make a significant impact in ensuring a safe working environment for employees.
This role involves providing guidance and support to site-based teams, building relationships with stakeholders, and driving compliance throughout all aspects of the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing expert advice on Health and Safety matters
- Mentoring and coaching site-based teams
- Developing and implementing Health and Safety strategies
- Conducting site visits and audits
- Monitoring and maintaining Health and Safety Management Systems
- Compiling reports and data analysis
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Health and Safety (Certificate IV or higher)
- Minimum 3 years' operational experience within the resources sector
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Document management and record keeping skills
- Familiarity with ICAM investigations and inductions
