About the Role

Property Network of Australia is seeking an experienced Retail Facilities Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational performance and maintenance of a high-quality retail asset in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external partners.
  • Project Support: Support the development and delivery of projects to enhance the retail asset's performance and value.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the preparation of the Strategic Asset Plan(s) and operational and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Contract Management: Create and approve work orders, tax invoices, service and minor capital works contracts.
  • Scope of Work: Prepare scope of works for planned operational or minor capital projects.
  • Contractor Management: Manage all contractors and service providers and their ongoing performance.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership to the team to develop and improve their collective strengths, skills, and knowledge.
  • Duty Management: Act as Duty Manager on evenings/weekends/public holidays as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in facilities management with solid administrative and/or technical background.
  • High-Volume Experience: Experience in a high-volume role with conflicting priorities.
  • Risk Management: Understanding of Australian Standards, NCC, HSE, DDA, and other risk management issues.
  • BMCS Systems: Detailed understanding and practical experience of BMCS systems.
  • Commercial Acumen: Commercial/Financial acumen.
