Key Responsibilities

Oversee the Facilities and Maintenance team, ensuring efficient management of operations, compliance, and risk management. Ensure that facilities and assets adhere to relevant Australian Standards, local regulations, and company policies. Supervise contractor activities to guarantee compliance with safety and operational standards, minimizing disruptions. Conduct regular inspections related to facilities and maintenance, following established schedules. Manage procurement of non-residential services and contracts in line with company guidelines. Serve as the primary contact for technical and maintenance inquiries, supporting various operational teams. Develop and manage operating budgets and forecasts effectively.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a Facilities or Maintenance management role. Experience in managing teams and direct reports. Familiarity with contract management and contractor oversight. Strong knowledge of fire safety measures, building codes, hydraulic and electrical systems, and mechanical systems. Excellent communication skills for building relationships with stakeholders. Background in facilities management or property industry preferred.
