About the Role

Property Network of Australia is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Retail Facilities Manager to join their team. As a key member of the facilities management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior FM in the day-to-day maintenance and operation of building services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Ensure consistently excellent customer and guest experience by maintaining a high level of service and quality.
  • Asset Management: Contribute to meeting the objectives of the centre's Asset Plan and Business Plan by effectively managing the performance of relevant cleaning and security teams.
  • Risk Management: Proactively manage hazards reported via the Contractor Management System (CMS) and ensure all tenancy fit-outs, alterations, and works are completed safely.
  • Financial Management: Assist with Operational Expenditure and Capital Expenditure Budgets, and Project Delivery Plans to ensure effective financial management.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in the hospitality, retail, and building management industries is highly desirable.
  • Financial Management: Demonstrated understanding of the ongoing management of expenditure budgets on an accrual basis.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Experience negotiating and enforcing contracts.
  • Risk Management: Demonstrated understanding of relevant national standards and risk management issues.
