Job Summary

City Facilities Management is seeking a skilled Tradesperson to join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance services to our clients across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements, to ensure facilities are safe and operational.
  • Work independently to anticipate and resolve maintenance issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Work across multiple disciplines, including carpentry, joinery, shopfitting, plastering, painting, and tiling.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in a similar role, preferably in facilities maintenance or construction services.
  • Trade qualification in Carpentry or a similar field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Currently have or be willing to obtain 3 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
  • Carpentry License; Contractor Grade, Nominee Supervisor Grade or Site Supervisor Grade – Preferred.
