Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Property/Accountant to join our highly regarded ISPT Property Management Accounting team at CBRE, the world's leading and largest commercial real estate services and investment firm.

About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity to be part of a successful team that outperforms in the market year on year. As a Portfolio/Property Accountant, you will provide assistance in the financial management accounting for a portfolio of entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monthly reporting of management accounts in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure accurate monthly reporting for properties which includes balance sheet, profit and loss analysis, and variance commentaries
  • Review and analysis of property performance
  • Preparation of Percentage Rent, Extended Trade, Occupancy Capping, Direct Recharges
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Deal with incoming queries and requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide assistance to clients with scheduled audits
  • Participate in Process Improvement Initiatives
  • Assist the Global Processing Centre (GPC) team with issue resolution
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • CPA/CA or studying towards it
  • Previous experience within property accounting – either commercial or retail-related
  • High-level attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to thrive in a busy environment
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
  • A positive attitude and flexible approach to work
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as parental leave and career development opportunities.
