Facilities Management Expert for Commercial Properties

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team, responsible for ensuring the maintenance and compliance requirements of our properties are met. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of facilities management principles and be able to manage various projects across our property portfolio.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will report to the Senior Facilities Manager and be responsible for:
- Managing all planned and reactive facilities management activities across the property portfolio;
- Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety and statutory regulations;
- Assisting with the management of capital works, fit-outs, and building projects;
- Conducting regular audits and assessments of facilities to ensure best practices in sustainability;
- Managing tenant communications related to ongoing maintenance and project work;
- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures to enhance the overall management and sustainability of the property portfolio.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in facilities management, preferably within the retail or commercial sector;
- A strong understanding of compliance and workplace safety requirements;
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to managing both routine and emergency situations;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with contractors, tenants, and other stakeholders;
- Ambitious, motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Experience with sustainability initiatives, including energy and water efficiency programs.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career development and professional growth.
