Civil Maintenance Specialist

The role of a Water Operator involves maintaining civil works associated with water supply systems and wastewater drainage systems within the Council area.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking civil works to meet Council standards by liaising with the Team Leader and/or Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated relevant experience in water and wastewater operations and maintenance, as well as a minimum of one year's experience in civil maintenance and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining civil works associated with water supply systems and wastewater drainage systems within the Council area.
- Liaising with the Team Leader and/or Supervisor to ensure that civil works are undertaken to meet Council standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in water and wastewater operations and maintenance.
- Minimum of one year's experience in civil maintenance and construction.
- Construction Induction White Card.
- Ability to operate small plant and hand tools.
- Physical fitness to complete all aspects of the position.
