With a strong reputation for reliability, safety, and performance, we are growing and we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team.

About the position

As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will work under the supervision of senior engineers and project managers on various civil engineering projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the planning, design, and construction phases of civil engineering projects.
  • Conducting site investigations and analysis of data (e.g., maps, reports, tests) to support project feasibility and design.
  • Preparing engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Performing field inspections and surveys to assess project progress and quality.
  • Assisting in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules and tenders (cost tracking projects)
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the project life cycle.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and technologies relevant to civil engineering.

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Sound knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities.
