Job Title: Civil Works Specialist

    We are seeking a skilled Civil Works Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality civil construction and maintenance services across the community.

    As a Civil Works Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of civil works activities safely and efficiently, contributing to the long-term functionality and performance of Council's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake infrastructure works including concrete, asphalt, drainage, signage, and street furniture construction and maintenance.
  2. Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  3. Hold a minimum MR Driver's Licence.
  4. Demonstrate strong customer focus and flexibility in work assignments.
  5. Accurately record information and complete daily work orders and timesheets.
  6. Hold a SafeWork general construction induction card (white card).
  7. Adhere to EEO, WHS, and environmental principles.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Traffic Control Licence.
  • Plant operator accreditation.
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent.
