We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Project Architect to join our team.

As a Senior Project Architect, you will lead project teams to ensure accurate and timely construction documentation from post-DA approval to completion. You will oversee project planning, resource allocation, and team performance to maintain project timelines and quality.

  • Liaising with internal management for approvals and sign-offs at key milestones.
  • Attending on-site meetings, liaising with builders, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to building regulations, planning controls, and industry standards.
  • Conducting quality checks at each stage, applying your expertise in construction detailing.
  • Regularly reviewing design work to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 6 to 8 years post-graduate experience within Architecture including a minimum of 5+ years local experience is essential – ideally registered.
  • Strong competency in Revit construction documentation.
  • Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proven experience in Class 2 multi-residential projects - must be currently leading your own projects.
  • Have strong understanding of the Design and Building Practitioner Regulation (DBP), Building Code of Australia (BCA) and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Architecture.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Full working visa or residency status and current local experience is essential for this role.
