As a specialist in adoption and family support, you will have the opportunity to provide expert guidance and advice to individuals navigating the complexities of birth, death and marriage registration.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality counselling services, conducting thorough assessments of families, producing detailed reports for court proceedings, collaborating with external agencies, supervising and supporting placements, preparing records for release, tracing family histories and serving as an intermediary between individuals separated by adoption.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Support parents considering placement of their child for adoption
  • Conduct thorough assessments of families seeking to adopt a child
  • Oversee arrangements for children placed in alternative care settings
  • Assist individuals seeking access to adoption information and records
About You

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced knowledge and expertise relevant to the area of adoption, including experience undertaking complex casework and assessments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex issues related to child placement and associated legislation.
