Your Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for injured workers, employers, medical practitioners, and other stakeholders regarding workplace injury claims
* Conduct risk assessments and triage of claims severity to identify potential barriers and develop strategies for effective claim management
* Coordinate the claims lodgement process, gathering information from stakeholders and ensuring timely determination of claim outcomes
* Undertake liability determinations for new, secondary, or reopened claims based on relevant information and stakeholder input
* Calculate Normal Weekly Earnings (NWE) for claims as required
* Document relevant information from initial claims lodgement summaries to support a seamless handover to claims teams
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, has experience in administration or a related field, and possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.
A background in workers compensation, claims, or other related disciplines would be highly regarded. If you're motivated, proactive, and have a holistic approach to problem-solving, we'd love to hear from you.
