About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Claims Service Consultant to join our team in Darwin. As a key member of our claims service team, you will be responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction levels and exceeding customer expectations while meeting team objectives.

You will manage a portfolio of domestic motor/property claims in accordance with the General Insurance Code of Practice. This will involve providing timely and effective responses to customer enquiries over the phone and in writing, developing customer relationships to understand customers' requirements, and delivering a positive, trusted customer experience.

  • Maintain customer service levels and exceed customer expectations whilst meeting team objectives.
  • Manage a portfolio of domestic motor/property claims in accordance with the General Insurance Code of Practice.
  • Provide timely and effective responses to customer enquiries over the phone and in writing.
  • Develop customer relationships to understand customers' requirements and deliver a positive, trusted customer experience.
  • Deliver consistent and appropriate high level of customer service at all touch points.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in administration, customer service, and/or contact centre within a corporate environment. You will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a proactive approach to problem solving, and strong decision-making capabilities.
