This role presents a chance to lead business development and operations oversight for the southeast region. The primary focus is on warehouse industrial projects, with some emphasis on light manufacturing, office, and mixed-use retail/hospitality ventures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new clients, as well as nurture existing relationships to achieve growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide preconstruction services, monitor subcontractor partnerships, and ensure project efficiency.
  • Develop and present major proposals to secure business opportunities.
  • Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders, including design consultants, general managers, directors of operations, and the VP/manager of estimating.
  • Cultivate direct reports through regular coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in construction, specifically within the local industrial warehouse sector.
  • An undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in client acquisition, deal closure, and business growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage preconstruction services and build strong subcontractor relationships.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a focus on presentation and meeting facilitation at various organizational levels.
  • The capacity to establish strong interpersonal connections and relationships throughout the organization.
