About the Role

We are seeking a friendly and genuine team player to join our team as a Personal Banking Consultant – Teller. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the finance industry or who is seeking a good work/life balance.

As a Personal Banking Consultant – Teller, your main objective will be to provide an exceptional level of personalised service to our members and guide them to a successful outcome by identifying individual needs, problem solving and proactively promoting our products and services.

Some of your key duties include having quality conversations and educating our members on our products, managing basic member enquiries and transactions, and maintaining accurate records in our systems. Your positive manner, attention to detail and eagerness to remain up to date with skills and knowledge will allow you to succeed in this role.

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated sales experience
  • Cash handling experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with people and work as a supportive team member
  • A demonstrated ability to positively adapt to change
  • Experience in the finance industry (desirable)
