Hedging Analyst Role

At our organization, we're committed to innovation and excellence in financial services. As a Hedging Analyst, you'll play a critical role in our dynamic hedging program for North Guarantee, an innovative investment and retirement solution that provides income and capital protection.

Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy of daily valuation liabilities and hedging assets, as well as relevant ALM reconciliation figures. You'll also be responsible for producing hedging trade recommendations, financial reporting (P&L attribution), new business implementation, and ad hoc studies and developments.

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with expertise in stochastic and deterministic valuation methodologies and tools used to perform projections. Additionally, you should have good knowledge of structured products and derivatives, as well as programming skills in VBA and other object-oriented languages.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We require a strong educational background in Quantitative Finance, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. Relevant tertiary qualifications are essential, and other applicable post-graduate studies such as a PhD or CFA charter would be advantageous.

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a relevant financial role is required, preferably in ALM, derivatives portfolio management, hedging, and other wealth management and life insurance positions.
