Quality Assurance Specialist

Our organization is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee quality oversight and technical leadership. This role combines hands-on quality management with strategic process enhancements, ensuring our products meet the highest standards while driving efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct quality control checks and testing across production to maintain product safety and compliance.
  • Lead projects that enhance processes, supplier standards, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain product specifications, recipes, and nutritional panels.
  • Train and mentor production teams to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Leads audits, CAPA, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in similar role (hybrid - QC & Technical Lead) and knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BRC/SQF, and ISO 22000 standards.
  • Hands-on quality and laboratory experience within food manufacturing.
  • Analytical problem-solver with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in recipe/specification management and data-driven quality reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field; HACCP/Quality certifications highly desirable.
