Quality Assurance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our organization. This is a key position that will play a significant role in ensuring the quality and performance of our API services.

  • This role requires experience with designing, developing, and executing test cases for Restful APIs and UI components.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with an attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
  • The successful candidate must be able to prioritize tasks based on risk, deadlines, and stakeholder needs.
  • They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, and JUnit is highly desirable.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in popular automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, and JUnit.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman and Rest Assured.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI for automating testing and deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with manual testing concepts and experience in functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and system testing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas simply.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
