**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Lead to join our dynamic team in Alexandria. As a key representative for business development, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with Hospitals, Allied Health professionals, government funding bodies, and other referral pathways established. Your primary objective will be to assess the needs of potential customers and ensure that our organization provides the required service and support.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

• Building, managing, and retaining strong relationships with key referrers such as Allied Health professionals, Support Coordinators, mental health units etc.
• Generating leads and cold calling prospective referrers
• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of our services and target markets
• Meeting or exceeding quarterly KPIs to increase our customer base
• Identifying new business opportunities including new locations to expand into, industry trends, partnerships
• Nurturing enquiries through to sales pipeline maintaining meaningful engagement through the customer journey
• Promoting our organization through word of mouth, attending relevant expos, and industry events
• Forward planning events and promotional activity for the year
• Developing and sending quarterly updates to referrers with updates regarding their customers
• Following industry trends and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the NDIS and funding requirements
• Providing regular reporting and visibility regarding new customers referred in and new referral pathways established
• Collaborating with Marketing to brief in sales and promotional activities to raise brand awareness and attract new referrers and customers
• Attending internal meetings and providing updates regarding leads, trends, and areas of improvement

**Requirements:**

• Experience working in the disability sector or client-centered care
• Results-driven professional
• High EQ with the ability to connect with customers and unpack their needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with influencing and facilitation skills
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively as part of a team
• Current Driver's License
