As a Cook at Goodstart, you will be responsible for crafting wholesome meals that nourish the minds and bodies of children, becoming an integral part of our community. Your enthusiasm for culinary arts and dedication to quality will significantly impact the daily experiences of the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote children's health by planning and preparing balanced meals.
  • Ensure the safety of children by accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies.
  • Utilize your creativity and organizational skills to design menus and procure food supplies in collaboration with the Centre Director.
  • Uphold high standards of food safety by maintaining hygienic practices in food storage, handling, and preparation.
  • Work a part-time schedule of 27.5 hours per week, with no night shifts or weekend work.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or relevant experience in a childcare environment.
