As a Cook at Goodstart, you will be responsible for crafting appetizing and wholesome meals that support the growth and development of children, becoming an integral part of our community. Your enthusiasm for cooking and dedication to high standards will significantly influence the daily experiences of the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote children's health by planning and preparing balanced meals.
- Ensure children's safety by accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies in meal preparation.
- Utilize your creativity and organizational skills to design menus and manage food inventory in collaboration with the Centre Director.
- Uphold stringent food safety standards by maintaining hygiene in food storage, handling, and preparation.
- Work a consistent part-time schedule of 27.5 hours per week, with no night shifts or weekend work.

Our centre is a close-knit environment with a capacity of 74 children, featuring long-standing staff members who have dedicated 5 to 15 years to our mission.
