About the Role
This rewarding caregiving role will see you providing personal care duties, social support, and domestic assistance to our elderly clients in the Port Macquarie area.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform personal care duties, including showering, feeding, and toileting; assist with oral medication
- Provide social support, such as accompanying clients to doctor appointments, shopping, and social outings
- Offer domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, bed making, and meal preparation
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a compassionate and empathetic caregiver with reliable transportation and a valid driver's licence. You'll also need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and have at least 12 months of personal care experience. A Certificate III in Individual Support is highly regarded, but not required.
