About Our Organisation
At Port Macquarie Hastings Council, we're committed to delivering essential services to our community. As an Administration Officer in our Utilities Operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of these services.
This is a permanent, full-time position located at Clearwater Centre, Clearwater Crescent Port Macquarie. You'll be responsible for providing administration support to the wider operational team, including manning the reception desk and coordinating meetings and functions.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Demonstrated recent administration experience with a strong focus on customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a proactive team
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support to the utilities operations team
- Coordinating meetings and functions, including agendas, minutes and catering
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting the wider team in the use of council software and systems
