Ampersand International is conducting a search for an experienced Bids & Tender Manager to join our client - a high profile, global law firm in Sydney. This is a unique opportunity to shape the underlying processes and systems and contribute to the firm's business development, retention and expansion efforts across Australia.

The successful applicant will be required to:

  • Collaborate with the business development team and legal teams in the preparation of tenders, focusing on high-value and strategic pursuits;
  • Facilitate formal bid/no bid assessments for bids and tenders, including coordinating key partners, finance, and pricing teams;
  • Develop high-quality bid documentation under tight deadlines;
  • Participate in bid scoping and debriefs with external clients.

This role reports directly to an impressive leader and involves working closely with the Business Development and Marketing teams. Regular progress updates are required to the Managing Partner and BD team on objectives and key pursuits.

To succeed in this position, you will possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in bid or tender management at a professional services firm, ideally within the law industry. Your ability to influence stakeholders, such as Business Development Managers and Partners, is essential.

You should also have a thorough understanding of bid management, bid documentation production, and industry best practices. A dynamic, creative, and resilient approach to your work is highly valued.

We estimate the salary for this position to be in the range of $150,000-$170,000 per annum, inclusive of superannuation. If you are interested in this opportunity, we invite you to review the details carefully and apply accordingly.
