Your Role and Responsibilities

  • You will develop strong relationships with participants to understand their needs, interests, skills, and experiences, unlocking their potential for employment success.
  • You will increase participants' employability through training and other support services, equipping them with the tools and confidence needed to thrive in the workforce.
  • You will source employment opportunities through effective networking and sales strategies, fostering partnerships with potential employers and community organisations.
  • You will build and maintain relationships with employers and community groups, ensuring seamless connections between job seekers and job openings.
  • You will assist participants with resume development, job applications, and interview preparation, helping them present themselves confidently and effectively.
  • You will identify and assess barriers to employment, developing creative solutions to support participants at work and beyond.
  • You will create job plans with participants, outlining clear pathways to employment and setting achievable goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathy with participants.
  • Highly developed planning, coordination, and time management skills, with attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
  • Experience working towards and achieving sales targets and KPIs, with a passion for sales and marketing techniques.
  • Computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Tertiary qualification in a related field (preferred but not essential), with a strong understanding of employment services principles and practices.
  • Full Australian working rights, ability to satisfy national police check and Working with Children Check requirements, and a current driver's license where required.
