Job Title: Accounts Payable Team Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to head our Accounts Payable team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AP processes and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the AP team in processing high-volume supplier invoices across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable functions, including 3-way matching, payment runs, and reconciliations.
  • Build strong relationships with local and international suppliers to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, GST requirements, and manufacturing-specific procurement policies.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to support operational efficiency.
  • Partner with supply chain, procurement, and finance teams to support production continuity and cost controls.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in Accounts Payable, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior role.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team to meet deadlines and performance targets.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end AP processes, including reconciliations and payment runs.
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 and intermediate Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and problem-solving.
