Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and credits, while maintaining compliance with internal controls.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as we embark on our Agile journey. We are seeking a highly organized, capable, and proficient AP professional with an open and curious mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process invoices/credits via the nominated system in an accurate manner within expected service level agreements.
  • Resolve any errors or issues immediately and develop controls to mitigate repeat scenarios.
  • Maintain all processes ensuring audit compliance.
  • Handle stakeholder complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within KPIs, and follow up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in accounting or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in accounting processes is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience in working cross-collaboratively for key stakeholders.
  • Exposure to working in an agile, fast-paced environment would be ideal.
