About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused HV Electrician to join our team at various sites across the Bowen Basin. As an HV Electrician, you will be responsible for completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy mobile equipment, including CAT 777, 793, Liebherr, and Komatsu.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, with experience in mine site maintenance of electric haul trucks, dozers, graders, draglines, electric shovels, and auxiliary equipment. You will also have a strong understanding of HV switching and the ability to work within a team environment.

About You

  • Australian recognised trade qualification (Electrician)
  • HV Switching would be advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in mine site maintenance of electric haul trucks, dozers, graders, draglines, electric shovels and auxiliary equipment
  • CAT, Letourneau, Liebherr and Komatsu experience would be highly regarded
  • Previous experience within mining is essential
  • The ability to work within a team environment and build effective working relationships
  • Experience or a fast learner with work management software tools (e.g. 1SAP)
  • A commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail and procedure
