About the Role

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused HV Electricians to join our team at various sites across the Bowen Basin. As an HV Electrician, you will be responsible for completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a broad range of heavy mobile equipment, including CAT 777, 793, Liebherr, and Komatsu.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repairs, with experience in mobile maintenance on Extra Low Voltage, Low Voltage, and High Voltage equipment. They will also have expertise in HV (RADIAL) and LV Isolations, and be able to follow scheduled planned/breakdown maintenance and carry out inspections on equipment as required.

About You

  • Australian recognised trade qualification (Electrician)
  • HV Switching would be advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in mine site maintenance of electric haul trucks, dozers, graders, draglines, electric shovels, and auxiliary equipment
  • CAT, Letourneau, Liebherr, and Komatsu experience would be highly regarded
  • Previous experience within mining is essential
  • The ability to work within a team environment and build effective working relationships
  • Experience or a fast learner with work management software tools (e.g. 1SAP)
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail and procedure
