We're looking for a highly skilled Healthcare Coordinator to join our team in Frenchs Forest, NSW. As a key member of our oncology clinic, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services and providing an exceptional experience for our patients.

Job Summary

This is a permanent full-time opportunity working 38 hours per week, with an annual salary over $79,000+ superannuation. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient appointments and schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of care
  • Provide high-level administrative support to our doctors and cancer nurse coordinators
  • Manage incoming referrals and triage patients to understand time frames for appointments
  • Schedule doctor consultations and undertake all necessary preparations for clinics
  • Ensure accurate and complete electronic medical records prior to and subsequent to patient visits
Requirements
  • Exceptional medical administration experience and medical terminology
  • High-level communication skills, with the ability to provide excellent patient care and communication
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
  • Excellent phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient tasks and enquiries
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills to enable resolution of urgent matters and time-critical medical appointments
  • Proficiency in clinical administration systems and Microsoft Office software
