Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled legal professional to join our team as a Senior Legal Counsel. This role will involve providing strategic legal advice on employment law matters, managing legal risk, and ensuring compliance with evolving workplace legislation and regulatory frameworks.

About the Role
  • Provide expert legal advice on employment law matters including enterprise agreements, awards, contracts, workplace investigations, and terminations.
  • Monitor and interpret legislative and industrial relations developments, advising on implications for policy, practice, and risk.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documentation, ensuring legal robustness and alignment with organisational values.

Requirements
  • Deep knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and workplace legislation.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders, People & Culture, Risk, and external counsel.
