About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team as a Territory Development Specialist, focusing on the Neuromodulation division.

The key objective of this role is to work collaboratively with leading healthcare professionals, deliver advanced medical technologies to patients in need, and support customers with clinical expertise to enable optimal patient outcomes.

This territory-based position will cover the greater Sydney metropolitan area and regional NSW travel as required, reporting into a Business Development Manager.

  • Develop and execute on territory plans to drive revenue growth and build a sustainable business over the longer term.
  • Manage capital radio frequency equipment life-cycle and consumable sales.
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH EXISTING CUSTOMERS AND DRIVE NEW BUSINESS IN THE ASSIGNED TERRITORY.
  • Plan and develop the market for existing and new products in line with divisional goals & objectives.
  • Work with the broader Neuromodulation team to identify training, research, and engagement opportunities for new and existing customers.
  • Maintain established contact person for hospital management, purchasing department, and hospital staff as it relates to the business.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions as required to promote products and services.
  • Complete market analysis and regular reporting as required.
  • Maintain all company assets, including assigned inventory, in good order and in accordance with audit and process requirements.
  • Represent the organization's values and integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Sales Performance: Seasoned professional salesperson with demonstrated sales success, track record of identifying and executing on new business opportunities, effectively determines customer's needs, and applies knowledge of products and services to meet these needs.
  • Product/Technical Knowledge: Proactively keeps up-to-date with technical knowledge in Neuromodulation and procedures.
  • Relationship Building: Builds and maintains effective networks that add value in achieving work-related goals, skilled in building rapport with a wide variety of individuals, understands the balance between taking time to build rapport and achieving objectives set.
  • Organising And Reporting: Maintains well-organized materials, files, systems, and reports, plans and prioritizes territory activity, makes sure all parts of a job are completed in full, within deadlines, including follow-up plans and paperwork.
  • Results Focused: Has a results-oriented mindset, measures his/her own performance, seeks feedback for self-development, demonstrates resilience and has a strong sense of urgency, recognizes and acts on opportunities, maintains a flexible approach to meet goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial experience with demonstrated achievement of success in the medical devices industry.
  • Prior experience with Neuromodulation products is desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • A good learner with the ability to gain clinical knowledge quickly.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize a flexible work schedule.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Results-focused with a resilient, flexible approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
