Blood Transplant and Cellular Therapies (BTCT) Coordinator Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a registered nurse to contribute to the care of patients with malignant and non-malignant diseases at a leading children's hospital.
The BTCT team provides complex care for patients referred for blood transplant and cellular therapies. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the BTCT team, supported by senior oncology nursing and allied teams.
- Coordinate patient journeys from transplant workup to post-transplant care.
- Supervise stem cell collection and infusion procedures.
- Develop and implement evidence-based clinical management plans.
The ideal candidate will provide expert clinical advice, leadership in developing and evaluating clinical management plans, and quality management in service planning and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate daily transplant services, scheduling, workflow, and communication with multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage donor relations, searches, recruitment, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Design and deliver educational programs for healthcare professionals and patients/families.
To succeed in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong background in haematology, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
