Our team is responsible for generating over $10 billion in Foreign Direct Investment, owning, operating or participating in coal mines across NSW, Queensland and Western Australia.

Mt Thorley Warkworth (MTW) is an open cut mine providing the opportunity to live and work locally. MTW relies on both dragline and load haul systems for continuous operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the production of LOM plans per requirements, including schedules, financials and forward work plans. They will evaluate mine planning options to improve operational efficiency, maintain an inventory of medium-term designs and liaise with the operational, projects and E&C teams.

Requirements

To be successful, you will have a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline, mining experience in large-scale operations, preferably in coal. You will also require experience with CAD design software packages and strong communication skills.
