Medium-Term Mine Planning Role

This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of medium-term mine plans, including schedules and financials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop medium-term mine plans, including reserves and schedules;
  • Evaluate mine planning options to improve operational efficiency;
  • Liaise with operational and project teams to ensure delivery of the plan;
  • Coach and mentor other team members;
  • Maintain compliance to legislative requirements and site standards;
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline;
  • Experience in large-scale mining operations, preferably in coal;
  • Skills in CAD design software packages, such as Deswik or Minex;
  • Strong communication and time management skills;
  • Ability to problem-solve and build relationships with stakeholders;
