About the Role

The company is seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to join their Technical Services team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for mine planning, drill and blast engineering, pit geology, and survey. They will support the development of Long-Term Mine Plans, contribute to reserves and schedules, evaluate mine planning options, maintain inventory of medium-term designs, liaise with operational teams, and coach and mentor other team members.

Key qualifications include a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline, mining experience in large-scale operations, preferably in coal, and experience with CAD design software packages such as Deswik, Minex, or Vulcan.

The ideal candidate will display strong communication and time management skills, problem-solving ability, leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills, as well as advanced MS Office Skills.

This role requires collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.
